Inner Development Goals and UN-SDGs
At Pathos Leadership, we believe outer change starts from within. That’s why our programs are grounded in the Inner Development Goals (IDG)—a framework of essential human skills that empower leaders to meet today’s global challenges.

Inner Development Goals
At the heart of every Pathos Leadership program are Inner Development Goals (IDG). The Inner Development Goals provide a vital framework for cultivating the human capabilities needed to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
While the SDGs focus on solving urgent global challenges—from climate action to equality–the IDGs emphasize the inner capacities that enable leaders to act.
Created with the input of thousands of world experts, scientists and practitioners, the IDG Framework consists of 5 dimensions and 23 skills of inner growth as shown in the illustration.
By developing these skills in individuals, teams, and leaders, the IDGs serve as a foundation for meaningful, sustainable action—bridging the gap between intention and impact in building a better world.
